Richard R. Shu

Richard's experience includes counseling clients with foundational estate planning documents, business formation, complex wealth transfer of lifetime gifts, charitable gifting, conservatorships for individuals who are unable to manage their own care and finances, and advising family members and professional fiduciaries in post-mortem administration. He has planned for and administered estates ranging in size from $500K to $60M.
Richard also brings a unique perspective to client matters where estate, business, and gift transactions are considered in the context of their tax implications, including income tax, estate and gift tax, and property tax consequences.
When Richard's not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, dating his wife, playing basketball, and learning guitar.
