The successful candidate will have California Bar Admission, 7-10 years litigation experience and an interest in trust and estates litigation. Must have management experience in leading a successful team of attorneys and staff. Must be self-motivated, inspire client and team confidence and have excellent academic credentials as the firm prides itself on performing high quality and complex legal work in a cost efficient manner.

The firm’s litigation practice includes trust and estates, general civil matters, tax, real estate, and other areas.

Candidates must be organized, efficient, and detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize and follow through to completion. Candidates are expected to have the ability, with assistance from the firm, to develop new business and build a practice. Prior speaking and writing experience preferred.

Estate Administration Paralegal

Position Summary

Barulich Dugoni & Suttmann Law Group, Inc. in Burlingame is looking for an Estate Administration Paralegal for their very active practice. This position supports the attorneys in the estate administration practice area with trust and estate administrations, client support and coordination, file management, preparation and processing of legal compliance, documents, general document production and file management activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree and Paralegal certificate or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years Paralegal support experience required. Existing Notary Public commission helpful.

Skills / Abilities

In addition to the above, the paralegal in this position will possess the following skills and/or abilities:

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; knowledge of Lexis and Advologix. Working knowledge of the Internet is required. Superior organization skills are a must, as well as excellent attention to detail. The desired candidate must possess the ability to work simultaneously on a variety of projects, effectively prioritize work effectively under pressure and complete assigned projects in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop positive working relationships through effective listening and communication are required as well as a professional presence. A minimum of mid-level experience in the legal field is mandatory. A proactive mind set, initiative and a self-motivating mind set required.

Estate Administration File Clerk

Position Summary

Barulich Dugoni & Suttmann Law Group, Inc. in Burlingame seeks a file clerk for its very active practice. This position supports the estate administration practice team. This includes assisting Attorneys and support staff in the practice areas with copy projects, scanning, opening and closing files, courier services and court visits, file management activities and reception relief.

Qualifications

Prior legal office experience preferred. Must be willing to learn new tasks. Professional appearance. Self-starter.

Skills / Abilities

The person in this role is required to be well organized, perform accurate work, manage multiple priorities, have attention to detail and complete assigned projects in a timely manner. Good verbal and written communications skills required. Prior legal office experience is preferred but not required.

Litigation Paralegal

Position Summary

Barulich Dugoni & Suttmann Law Group, Inc. in Burlingame is looking for a Litigation Paralegal for their very active practice. This position supports the attorneys in the Litigation group practice area. This includes assisting with client support, shelling documents, file management, preparation and processing of legal compliance, documents, general document production and file management activities.

Qualifications

Position Summary

This position supports attorneys, paralegals and staff in the Litigation practice area. This includes assisting with calendaring, meeting arrangements, preparation of original documents for signing and notarizing, file management, copying and scanning projects, light document production, miscellaneous administrative tasks, and occasional running of errands and reception desk relief.

Qualifications

Associate Arts or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Some legal support experience required. Existing Notary Public commission helpful.

The most desirable candidate will be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Advologix. The person in this role is required to be a flexible team player, well organized, able to perform accurate work, manage multiple priorities, and complete assigned projects in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
